Position: Sr. Manager, Network and Telephony

Primary Role

The Sr. Manager, Network and Telephony will be primary responsible for the management of the network and telephony teams. This role has a heavier focus on leadership than technical, but the candidate will still have the ability to provide technical support or guidance when and where needed. This person will have a balanced mix of big-picture thinking while driving operational excellence. This person will lead passionate, highly skilled, collaborative teams that supports information security policies and meets all relevant compliance requirements. Our ideal candidate will have experience with leading a team, possess the core competencies for network and telephony technologies, and evolving enterprise technology stacks.

Technical Skills

  • Subject matter expertise in WAN and LAN Products (Cisco/Juniper)
  • Subject matter expertise in Wireless LAN (Cisco/Juniper)
  • Subject matter expertise in MPLS and SD-WAN
  • Subject matter expertise in Nexus and/or ACI
  • Experience with Firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto)
  • Experience with VoIP
  • Experience with CCaaS solutions
  • Experience with VPN and/or Encryption
  • Experience with Amazon / AWS

Knowledge

  • Eight (8) plus years experience / knowledge in information technology with an emphasis on a blended style of leadership and technical.

Soft Skills

  • Experience in leadership with a proven track record for delivering desired outcomes while fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, innovation and talent development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences including proven ability to deliver conference presentations
  • Strong decision-making ability and flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and to deliver results through others while overcoming obstacles to success
  • Should possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and an ability to work well under pressure

Education
