Sr. Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst for our client located at Reston, VA to analyze business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems.

• Responsible for leading the functional requirements gathering with stakeholders. The candidate works directly with internal customers to understand the business environment and needs. Identifies relevant design, process and specification issue.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria and participate in scrum ceremonies.
• Work with product and technology teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.
• Present information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
• Identify opportunities for product improvements, as well as collect feedback from team and provide recommendations.
• Develop communication and outreach materials for internal and external audiences.

Minimum Required Experience:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.
• Experience with database modeling, mapping and system interface documents
• Experience writing and understanding data rules
• Experience performing user acceptance testing and story acceptance
• Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Excel skills , SQL and relational database knowledge
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience using JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence

Preferred Experience:

Fannie Mae Multifamily knowledge is good to have.
