Summary: This is a great opportunity to join a high-growth organization and play a key role in building out our finance team. You will work closely with our finance/accounting team as well as our department owners and representatives from our private equity partner. This is a highly visible position that will be key to shaping our finance team. You will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, budget and forecast management, other financial analyses and carrier reconciliations.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage annual budget process and own the model
  • Complete occasional re-forecasts
  • Perform regular KPI analysis
  • Own month-end financial reporting package and variance analysis
  • Assist with monthly board package preparation
  • Perform commission payment calculations
  • Manage financial analysis around significant management estimates
  • Review the monthly benefit invoices.
  • Compare the client and employee deductions to the amount billed for discrepancies.
  • Track COBRA payments as it relates to reconciling the bills.
  • Create self-billing for carriers.
  • Create check requests for invoices and self-bills.
  • Build relationships - work with internal staff and carriers to resolve errors.
  • Keep leadership informed of any major concerns.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in corporate finance.
  • Able to run a multitude of reports and manipulate them in excel quickly.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented culture.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Normal Work Hours: Weekdays, 8am-5pm with an hour unpaid lunch.
