As a member of the Organization Design Practice, this role will play a critical part in helping business partners build and transform organizations in a way that bring business strategies to life.

This role is responsible for leading aspects of the development and execution of the organization design and transformation process. This role involves evaluating and clarifying current strategies, identifying opportunities, and designing solutions that boost business success. This role will work closely with leaders across the business to pursue the right configuration of people, process, and technology.

This role will partner with lead consultants to facilitate portions of the org design process (e.g., macro design review sessions, design pressure testing, talent placement scenarios, etc.) This role will consult to leaders on design methodologies and key processes after senior leader alignment has occurred. This role will also engage directly with design teams as well as key clients/partners.

In addition to contributing to delivering successful outcomes of specific org design/transformation initiatives, this role will also actively help build the overall org design capability as well as the processes, tools, and systems that will enable the capability to scale,

Responsibilities

  • Organizational Architect- Leads portions of project workstreams, from planning through implementation. Specifically, will play a significant role in transforming the future of how the Support Center supports the Field (Aligned Field Support) May also serve as OD lead for department/sub-department org designs. Partners closely with Talent Consulting to design organizations of the future.
  • Transformation Manager - Manages/leads aspects of Org blueprint design work (coordinate/conduct design sessions) in partnership with lead consultants.
  • Capability Builder - Responsible for the design, development and refreshing of the playbook, tools, resources, and training experiences needed to boost overall org design capability in the business.
  • Trusted Advisor - Serves as a trusted expert to Sr. leaders and teams across the business. Provides advisory/consultative support to Talent Directors/Partners. Will also facilitate the OTR practice lead meetings
  • Process Innovator - Explores innovate ways to do org design work (e.g. OD Software)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum experience of 6+ years in Org Design, Org Development, Org Effectiveness or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
  • Experience leading portions of large-scale project(s)
  • Prior experience in org design, Operating Model Development or transformation efforts
  • Experience working with clients/partners on complex and sensitive issues
  • Experience with facilitating the org design process with clients
  • Formal training on org design methodology
  • Process facilitation
  • Facilitation of leader alignment
  • Project/Program Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in HR, OD, OB, I/O Psychology or related field
  • Completion of differentiation by design training, and align org solutions
