Marketing & Social Media Manager | High-end Interior Design Firm | Chicago, IL

We are seeking a positive, creative, and collaborative Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our client’s high-end interior design firm focused on residential, hospitality and boutique commercial interiors.

This position is a great fit for a marketing & social media creative who loves rolling up their sleeves to creating original content and deploy it through digital channels including social media. You love flexing both sides of your brain...creativity yes, but also with a business-growing strategic intent. The ideal candidate must be organized enough to plan and implement marketing projects and a content calendar for the brand. This position is in-office with some travel to project sites or events.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years (ideally 6+) of full-time professional experience in related field (social media, marketing, art direction, graphic design, web design, etc.)
• Avid consumer of high quality editorial content & ideally an experienced contributor (writer, photographer, graphic designer, editor) of such content
• Bachelors degree in Art, Marketing, or related fields (photography, graphic design, etc)
• Extensive knowledge & passion for the interior design & architecture industry including awareness of notable brands, leading designers & architects, design magazines & books, etc
• Impeccable aesthetic taste as well as alignment with Principal’s design style and philosophies
• Basic photo-editing/Photoshop skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, try new things, and seek solutions with limited supervisor direction
• Experience with WordPress, Squarespace, or other back-end CMS for creating online content preferred but not required
• Proactive self-starter – shows both initiative and detailed follow-through/completion
• Strong attention to detail & strong organizational skills
• Positive and fun, team player, utmost integrity, honesty, & no-drama/ego attitude a necessity
