We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Paid Media Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day management of our Paid Media efforts across Paid Social & Paid Search. This position will report directly to Hello Cake’s SVP of Paid Media & Analytics. As the Paid Media Manager, you will be “hands-on keyboard” and responsible for managing Paid Social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, X/Twitter, etc. and Paid Search/Shopping campaigns on Google AdWords.

This role calls for an experienced and detail-oriented marketer who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and knows how to scale budgets appropriately across platforms. You will conduct A/B tests and experiments, optimize campaigns, analyze data, and implement initiatives that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage digital marketing campaigns end-to-end, inclusive of planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting across Paid Social & Paid Search channels
  • Perform daily campaign activities such as bid management, budget allocation, pacing, forecasting, performance monitoring and optimization.
  • Optimize campaign, audience, creative, budgets, and bids across multiple channels to target performance goals
  • Continuously track and analyze campaign performance data to generate actionable insights, optimizations, and recommendations
  • Identify and execute A/B test opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling and effective ad creatives by identifying creative learnings and insights
  • Manage, monitor, and adjust budgets for marketing channels, ensuring efficient spend and maximum ROI
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and external media agency to align performance marketing initiatives with overall business goals
  • Traffic ads across all Paid Social and Search media channels
  • Work with Hello Cake’s Creative team to manage all creative assets and ensure ads are trafficked and go live within stated deadlines

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in digital marketing with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on platform management running paid search (Google Ads) and paid social (Meta, TikTok, X/Twitter, Reddit, Snapchat, etc).
  • Experience with the principles of creating an advertising campaign; composing audience targeting strategies, generating ad creative for testing, and optimizing for customer acquisition
  • Proven direct response marketing experience, being able to demonstrate ways to optimize to achieve a balance between revenue and cost goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract data and trending insights
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Self-motivated; can learn quickly and work independently
  • Extremely organized, systematic, and able to identify and address issues
  • Punctual, can meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Experience working with a brand in a regulated industry is a plus as we face a lot of ad compliance issues with our digital marketing platforms.
  • Based in Los Angeles and able to commute to the Hello Cake office 2x/week to work in-person
