Tunes For Kidz is a Nashville-based nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing music to children. Tunes for Kidz is run by a dedicated team of student volunteers who work to transform underserved communities through music accessibility. In 3 and a half years, we've provided over 500 instruments to children in the foster care system, children without access to instruments, and schools without well-supported music programs.
Role Description
This is an internship position for a Chief Marketing Officer at Tunes For Kidz. The Chief Marketing Officer will oversee market planning, market research, public relations, marketing management, and sales. This is a remote role. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing all social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.)
- Publishing quarterly newsletters via Wix (no previous experience with Wix required)
- Attending TFK events to film/photograph content and promote TFK
- Collaborating with local partners and news outlets to spread the message of TFK
- Attending weekly Zoom meetings with the TFK administrative team
Qualifications
- High school or college student
- Preferably based in the greater Nashville area
- Experience with content creation
- Proficient use of Canva and/or other editing platforms
- A kind, motivated individual willing to put in a few hours per week to spread the Tunes for Kidz mission.
- Great communicator
- Proficient writer
