Role: Pueo has an opportunity for an experienced TS/SCI cleared SharePoint Administrator and Knowledge Manager to join our team in Reston, VA. The SharePoint Administrator and Knowledge Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the SharePoint environment within the organization, ensuring its optimal performance, security, and functionality. Additionally, this role involves implementing and maintaining knowledge management practices to enhance collaboration and information sharing across the organization. This particular role includes additional duties to support customers seeking information and support related to cybersecurity matters.

Responsibilities:

SharePoint Administration:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint farms, sites, and services,
  • Monitor and optimize SharePoint performance, ensuring high availability and reliability,
  • Manage user permissions and access controls to secure sensitive information,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint functionality.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with departmental heads and teams to understand collaboration needs,
  • Design and implement SharePoint sites and solutions to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration,
  • Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint features and best practices.

Knowledge Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy,
  • Create and maintain a centralized knowledge base/repository for organizational documents, best practices, and other relevant information,
  • Promote knowledge-sharing culture and encourage employees to contribute to the knowledge base.

Content Management:

  • Oversee the creation, organization, and categorization of content within SharePoint,
  • Develop and enforce content management policies and procedures,
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of information stored in SharePoint.

Integration and Customization:

  • Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and applications as needed,
  • Customize SharePoint solutions to meet specific business requirements,
  • Stay updated on SharePoint advancements and recommend upgrades or enhancements.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security policies to protect sensitive data stored in SharePoint,
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards,
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments,

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate and analyze reports on SharePoint usage, performance, and content,
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvements based on analytics.

Cybersecurity Support Desk:

  • Respond to customer inquiry via email, live chat, and telephone providing relevant information,
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements,
  • Provide guidance to the FAQ and Knowledge base to improve response time,
  • Provide knowledge management recommendations to improve the quality of information shared and reduce the number of calls required.

Qualifications:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly,
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field,
  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator and Knowledge Manager,
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and customization,
  • Familiarity with knowledge management principles and practices,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams,
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills,
  • Knowledge of information security and compliance standards,
  • Project management skills for implementing SharePoint solutions.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft SharePoint certification,
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and on-Premis and Office 365,
  • Familiarity with enterprise search solutions,
  • Knowledge of business process automation using 2013 SharePoint workflows,
  • Knowledge of Tableau for visualization and data analytics,
  • Experience with front facing customer service.
