Position Overview:

HR Professionals is seeking many highly experienced Application Program Managers, Seniors, and Specialists to work as a functional team with a series of strategic SAP integration projects and application development initiatives. The Application Program Manager will be responsible for defining program goals, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation of SAP solutions that meet organizational objectives. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing project plans, and driving continuous process improvement. All levels of Application Programmers may apply to this Job Description.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect functional solutions for SAP integrations, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and business requirements
• Develop a deep understanding of the business environment to inform decision-making and drive successful outcomes
• Define program goals and objectives in alignment with the organization's strategic direction
• Create detailed project plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget management
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects and programs on time and within budget, ensuring compliance with program management processes and standards
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies as needed
• Provide consistent communication on project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure program goals are achieved
• Provide ongoing evaluation and improvements for program management processes and practices
• Offer day-to-day support and guidance for ongoing processes, ensuring smooth operation and successful project delivery
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  
  

Mandatory Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, including leading large-scale IT projects and programs
• Proven expertise in SAP Integrations, including experience with SAP Public Sector Financials
• Demonstrated success in managing the full lifecycle of complex projects, from inception to delivery and post-implementation support
  
  

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Grants Management (GM), SAP Funds Management (FM), and SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
• Familiarity with SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), SAP Budget and Planning (SBP), and SAP Materials Management (MM)
• Experience with SAP Real Estate (RE), SAP Project Systems (PS), and SAP Asset Accounting (AA)
• Knowledge of SAP General Ledger (GL), SAP Controlling (CO), SAP Accounts Payable (AP), SAP Accounts Receivable (AR), and SAP Financial Accounting (FI)
  
  

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization to ensure program success
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and guide teams
• Experience in developing high-level architecture specifications to address system integration and compatibility challenges
• Capacity to lead continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the review and evaluation of technology solutions
• Proven ability to provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, and mentorship to internal personnel
