Role: Individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of data scientists and driving data-driven decision-making within the organization

Key Responsibilities:

This role will involve developing, implementing, and managing advanced analytics and machine learning models to extract insights and create predictive solutions.

Individual will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior data scientists, providing technical leadership, and contributing to the overall data science strategy of the company

Work with internal stakeholders to collaborate on delivering solutions

Interact with client for understanding requirements and discussing solutions

Set clear goals, assign tasks, and ensure the team's performance meets or exceeds expectations.

Identify new data sources and technologies that can improve data analysis and modeling capabilities.

Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations

Job Requirement:

Bachelor s or higher degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering

Total years of required experience in Software industry to be:10+ years

Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL

Experience of requirement understanding & solution designing

Knowledge of Deep Learning models for solving business problems in the area of Natural Language Processing

Proficiency in Generative AI techniques prompt engineering, Vector DB, LLMs such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Open-source LLMs, Vector DBs is important

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data science projects.

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Previous experience in a leadership or management role is typically required.

Familiarity with using hosted services on cloud is a plus

Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer) can be an advantage.
