Job Title: Ecomm Sales Analyst

Status: Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret complex eCommerce data issues and structures to gather requirements and develop reporting and analysis solutions that meet business and stakeholder needs. Use business storytelling to provide insights that include root causes and actionable solutions.
  • Perform ad hoc data requests directly from the Data Warehouse or source systems to generate useful business insights and deliver timely, business-critical results.
  • Work independently with large data sets to create data solutions. Correlate, synthesize, validate, understand, and report operational, customer engagement, quantitative, and qualitative data to identify key insights and trends.
  • Provide strategic recommendations leveraging digital commerce and advertising analytics.
  • Integrate disparate datasets from internal and external sources to formulate a consolidated view of brand health metrics, channel performance, and opportunities, supporting key marketing decisions.
  • Identify trends and patterns in channel performance and customer behavior to iteratively improve outcomes.
  • Plan, lead, and monitor brand strategy across various platforms and departments, making data-driven recommendations to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and improve efficiency.
  • Inform business decisions by sharing insights, trends, and recommendations, and by measuring the impact of internal processes and enterprise initiatives.
  • Drive category growth and expansion by analyzing inefficiencies and providing actionable solutions.
  • Analyze competitive market strategies by examining related market trends.
  • Identify key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of advertising in meeting business objectives.
  • Customize marketing dashboards and reports, working closely with the internal IT business intelligence team.
  • Use data and statistical analysis to support key business decisions, and leverage data to automatically detect early anomalies in data patterns.
  • Develop mathematical and scientific models of complex systems, including variables, constraints, alternatives, and objectives relevant to the business.
  • Provide reports such as Search Terms, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Search Reports, Inventory Analysis, Business Intelligence Reports, Sales Overviews, Media Reports, ARA Premium Insights, and Amazon Marketing Cloud.
  • Conduct regular audits of metrics to drive quality and achieve digital commerce and brand sales targets.
  • Analyze campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify actionable insights.
  • Generate reports that inform the creation of presentations, proposals, and budgets.
  • Provide insights on various categories and audience segments by analyzing internal, external, and comparable data sources.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce data analysis, digital marketing analytics, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics.
  • Experience with data extraction from Data Warehouses and other source systems.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Ability to work independently with large, complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with digital commerce metrics, advertising analytics, and brand health tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to inform business strategy.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with marketing platforms like Amazon Marketing Cloud or ARA Premium is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex data sources.
