SAP Performance Engineer

Duration: Long-Term

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution. Consideration will be given for three years of progressive experience in the specialty for each year of education not completed.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Proven experience in SAP Performance Testing.
• Familiarity with the full SDLC lifecycle.
• Experience with Lean and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 4 years of professional IT experience.
• At least 4 years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong expertise in performance testing for SAP applications.
• Experience with Brownfield or Greenfield S/4 HANA implementations.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
• Skills in data analysis and visualization, end-to-end performance assessment, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong performance-tuning skills for SQL queries.
• Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
• Ability to strategize changes that may affect the performance and stability of SAP HANA systems.
• Proficient in using various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in developing robust and scalable technical solutions to business challenges.
• Familiarity with Agile development and work management methodologies.
• Quick learner of new technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-timezone development teams and manage their own workload effectively.
• Strong work ethic.
