  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Jira Migration Specialist

Target Start Date: ASAP

Location: 100% Remote

Candidate Persona:

Plan and execute the migration of data from existing vendor JIRA s instance to our JIRA instance (on prem or cloud) ensuring data integrity.

Conduct a thorough assessment of the current JIRA environment, including configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.

Develop a detailed migration plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, define success criteria, and communicate the migration plan and timeline.

Work closely with the technical team to prepare the new JIRA environment (cloud), configure settings, and perform necessary upgrades or patches.

Develop and execute data migration scripts and procedures to transfer JIRA projects, issues, attachments, and other data to the new platform.

Test the migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, resolving any issues or discrepancies as needed.

Provide training and support to end-users on the new JIRA platform, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to their workflows.

Document the migration process, including configurations, scripts, and best practices, for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Monitor the migration process, track progress against the plan, and proactively address any issues or risks that may arise.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed to ensure the successful completion of the migration project.

Communicate regularly with stakeholders and project sponsors to provide updates on the migration progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.

Prior experience with JIRA Xray Test Management tool, confluence to Jira Cloud Migration and PractiTest to Xray Migration.
