Description We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team of high-performing professionals and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The CFO oversees finances, but their role extends beyond that. They may also play a role in human resources, negotiations, legal matters, information tech ology, and sometimes real estate. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills. You will collaborate closely with the President and Executive management team to provide complete visibility into financial data and support decision-making.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Controller or Chief Financial Officer role.
  • Proven experience providing financial leadership in a high-growth, multi-state environment.


Proven experience with budgeting.

  • Ideally work experience with an Architectural or Engineering related company.


General Job Description / Summary

Assists the President and Board of Directors with the organization's financial leadership, planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers. Oversees all financial reporting activities, providing the President, management, and Board of Directors with accurate and up-to-date information on the financial activities.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree-Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Master’s degree-Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.

  • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
  • Experience with general ledger functions, financial statement preparation and year-end close process
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
