JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst will support the bank by analyzing Compliance department needs facilitating the implementation of effective solutions. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that business processes are efficient and aligned with the bank's objectives. The Business Analyst will ensure that requirements are accurately transcribed into user stories or business requirements templates and will help support the refinement and testing of product deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and translating them into actionable user stories or business requirements documents
  • Process Improvement: Assess compliance processes and requirements to recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems or processes, ensuring smooth adoption
  • Testing and Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and validate solutions
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all processes and solutions comply with banking regulations and standards

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of banking operations, regulations, and compliance
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management frameworks
  • Experience with business process modeling tools
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services sector

Salary: $80,000-$105,000 per annum

"Base salary range does not include performance-based bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience."
