Job Description
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and perform multiple cell-based potency assays requiring long term sterile culturing.
- Perform standard analytical methods such as, UV spectrophotometry, cell counting methods, microscopy and cell imaging.
- Support analytical method validation for new products
- Document test results and report abnormalities to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with cGMP and GDP.
- Follows established SOPs accurately
- Troubleshoot instruments and assays with limited guidance
- Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the team and department meetings.
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- Strong background in sterile technique and cell culture, preferably with BSL2 experience
- Strong pipetting skills and understanding of cGMP concepts and practice.
- Strong computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Solid organization, scientific, computational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelors degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience
