As a test engineer, you will be part of R&D team developing Synopsys Speed Adaptor solutions and managing state-of-the-art

hardware lab involving Speed Adaptor, Emulation / prototyping hardware, compute servers and advanced test equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Understand evolving development / validation needs of Synopsys Speed Adaptor Solutions with Synopsys Emulation and Prototyping platforms

and evolving the Hardware lab to meet these needs.
  • Ensuring the lab is always functional by establishing and running required diagnostic tests working with R&D and validation teams.
  • Involved in procuring and installing Speed Adaptor HW, emulation and prototyping HW, servers and test equipment.
  • Perform necessary maintenance and upgrades by coordinating with RND, IT and DevOps teams.
  • Ensure efficient usage of the HW by all teams concerned by establishing appropriate processes and automation.


Key Requirements
  • Hands-on automation experience with Python or Perl languages
  • Hands-on experience in working with hardware boards / systems and test equipment like oscilloscopes, tester's, etc.
  • Strong analytical / debug skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across geographies.
  • Good organization and communication skills.


Education
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.


Preferred Experience
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in working as a lab engineer or manager involving complex hardware / software.
The Salary Range for this position is $146000-$218000
