ALTIVIA Petrochemicals, LLC is seeking an International Logistics & Account Manager to work in Houston, Texas, and international travel is required.

As the International Logistics & Account Manager, you will do the following.

Identify and define problems in Operations and Logistics. Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, and transportation. Communicate with service providers, such as ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, storage locations, or trucking companies. Provide ongoing analysis in areas such as transportation costs, procurement, back orders, inventory safety stocks, and delivery processes, and provide advice on the managerial methods used as well as the organization of an establishment. Track product flow from origin to final delivery. Communicate with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency and effectiveness policies and programs, and minimize the cost of logistics operations or processes by using data mining, data modeling, cost, or benefit analysis methods. Recommend improvements to methods, systems, and procedures in areas such as operations, records management, and communications.

Make recommendations to upper management through research, case studies, presentations, or written reports. Drive initiatives from beginning through to the end, ensuring successful implementation of changes. Prepare reports on logistics performance measures. Develop business rules or standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes. Teach co-workers about new methods of managing logistics, especially policies, systems, programs, and regulations. Perform competitor and customer market research for business segment strategy development, mark segment intelligence updates. Develop annual customer forecast and projections. Interface with other business functions on problem identification and resolution. Perform data mining and analysis in support of recommendations to improve the businesses. Serve as a critical resource for developing and implementing continuous process improvement internally and externally with customers. Compile and pre-populate information using Microsoft Excel techniques. Develop formulas using Microsoft Excel. Handle project and tasks assignments in a timely manner. Develop and analyze detailed reports, charts, and shipment simulations to illustrate variances, overall spend calculations, and other using Microsoft Excel formulas. Diagnose and assist with time-sensitive issues relating to data and timelines. Learn and gain Product and Product Transportation knowledge in all modes of transport to demonstrate knowledge and decision- making methodologies during future assignments/projects.

Travel internationally as needed to drive improvements. Up to 25% international travel to Europe.
