Role Description:
The Account Executive will focus on selling Clay’s innovative platform to production and multifamily builders, showcasing how our platforms simplify lead management, purchaser tracking, and data utilization. Working with our BDR team, which generates leads, you’ll concentrate on closing deals, building client relationships, and demonstrating the unique value Clay provides. The ideal candidate has experience in software sales within real estate, construction, or proptech, excelling in both consultative and solution-oriented sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Engagement: Collaborate with BDRs to engage production and multifamily builders, utilizing qualified leads for targeted outreach.
• Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging demos that highlight the full scope of Clay’s platform, including lead and purchaser management tools, data insights, and 3D visualization.
• Sales Cycle Management: Own the sales process from lead follow-up through close, ensuring seamless CRM documentation and a positive client experience.
• Client Relationships: Develop trust with decision-makers, positioning Clay as an essential partner in project management and visualization.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with the Sales Manager, BDR, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies, client needs, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- • Exceed Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas, playing a key role in expanding Clay’s reach within the builder market.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales, particularly within real estate tech, proptech, or construction tech.
• Industry Insight: Knowledge of production and multifamily builders’ workflows, especially in lead and purchaser management.
• Sales Success: Proven track record in exceeding targets and building a solid sales pipeline.
• Exceptional Communication: Ability to present complex information in an accessible, impactful way.
• Organized and Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) with strong organizational skills.
