Job description:
A property and casualty client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Management Analyst. The successful candidate will collaborate with other enterprise risk management (ERM) team members on a variety of projects with a focus on casualty accumulation, catastrophe modeling, cyber insurance and emerging risks. This professional is expected to demonstrate expertise in handling both quantitative and qualitative information. Actuarial exam support will be provided for candidates who wish to pursue an actuarial designation.

Responsibilities:
Manage casualty accumulation.
Support the development of the extract, transform and load process for casualty data.
Analyze and visualize casualty accumulations by insureds, lines and industries to deliver valuable insight to business leaders.
Assist with creating casualty catastrophe scenarios by studying historical events and emerging risks.
Model complex casualty reinsurance protections.
Assist with monitoring cyber insurance exposures and modeling of cyber catastrophe events.
Perform research on emerging risks, including climate change, and quantify their impact on property and casualty lines, invested assets and general business operations.
Measure and monitor property and workers compensation risk aggregation.
Support ERM reporting processes, including preparing deliverables for senior management and rating agencies and regulators.
Assist with automation and management of key risk processes and projects.
Support the implementation and maintenance of the risk assessment processes across the domestic and international business units.
Participate in discussions with leaders from business units as well as senior executives from other corporation functions.

Requirements:
3+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor s degree in a related field
Advanced degree (preferred)
Experience working with casualty lines of business
Proficiency in R or Python and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stay organized and multi-task
Initiative to independently perform research on a wide variety of risk topics
Knowledge of data engineering (preferred)
Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society designation (preferred)
