Summary:

The Analyst, Capital Markets I reports directly to the Vice President of Capital Markets and will support pricing, pooling, and securitization activities. This high-profile position will provide support analytics utilized on a daily basis to manage business decisions, and also protect the company’s interest rate exposure.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for analysis of financial and business data, extracts and defines relevant information, interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project financial or business outcomes.
  • Assist in developing financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
  • Model various exit strategies with multiple investors.
  • Create ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

This position is an individual contributor with no direct reports.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in data analysis, capital markets or related field.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

None required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and solve a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists. Ability to intemperate a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Assesses and diffuses problem situations and requires influencing others to reach consensus. Requires tact and diplomacy to handle difficult customer relationships. Explores alternatives and creative solutions to meeting the needs of customers.
