Avionics Technician, Weekend Shift
Salary: $38-39/hour
Location: Windsor Locks, CT 06096

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and Avionics / Electric A/C Technical school or other substantiated equivalent.
- 4 years of Avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience on corporate jet aircraft required.
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status.
- Own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools
- A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft) A Certification, P Certification, or A & P Certificate
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate
- Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
- Basic PC skills
- Must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
- Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)
- Adhere to company General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions).
- Comply with environmental health / safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in 5-S activities.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
- Operate ground support equipment as required.
- Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations.
- May assist with maintenance at off-site locations
- Assist other maintenance disciplines
- Perform other duties as assigned
