Position Title: Analytics Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Employment Type: W2 Candidates Only
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Analytics Consultant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role requires extensive experience in statistical modeling and data engineering, with strong skills in SAS and/or Python. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in modeling methodologies and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Development: Design and implement statistical models using methodologies such as random forest, time series analysis, GLM, and multiple regression.
  • Data Engineering: Perform data engineering tasks to support modeling efforts, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize SAS and/or Python for data analysis and model development. SQL skills will be an integral part of your role.
  • Consulting Communication: Engage with various stakeholders, including team members and external clients, to discuss modeling projects and requirements. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining complex concepts clearly.
  • Project Experience: Share detailed experiences of modeling projects you have developed and executed. Provide evidence of successful modeling implementations.
  • Modern Tools: Familiarity with modern modeling toolkits such as H2O and Snorkel is advantageous.
  • Educational Background: Formal training in statistics, data science, social sciences, public health, or economics is preferred. Academic qualifications will be considered favorably.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience: 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in statistical modeling.
  • Modeling Skills: Proven expertise in modeling methodologies and data engineering.
  • Programming: Extensive recent experience with SAS and/or Python.
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and team members.
  • Educational Qualifications: Clear academic background in relevant fields will weigh in your favor.

  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Travel Requirements: No travel required beyond hybrid work arrangement.
