As a VDC Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of BIM (Building Information Modeling) implementation and management at Influx Building Tech. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, efficient use of BIM tools and technologies, and adherence to industry standards. The BIM Manager plays a crucial role in driving innovation, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall project performance through effective BIM utilization.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in BIM-related technologies or software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.) are highly desirable.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry, with a focus on BIM implementation and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading BIM projects from initiation to completion, including coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and implementing BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific BIM tools, software platforms, and their integration.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, with an in-depth understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  • Ability to create and manage complex BIM models, perform clash detection, and resolve coordination issues.
  • Familiarity with laser scanning and point cloud data management for BIM integration.
  • Knowledge of BIM-related programming languages (e.g., Python, Dynamo) and scripting for automation is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and compliance requirements related to BIM implementation.
Other Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ability to articulate complex BIM concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools to effectively plan, schedule, and track BIM deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in BIM technology, industry standards, and best practices.
