Job Description

Welcome to the forefront of innovation! At Resideo, we're not just building smart home technology; we're revolutionizing how people safeguard what matters most. We're seeking a creative and passionate Senior Learning Partner to join our global Talent Management and Development team. This is an opportunity to help build and execute learning and talent programs that help develop and retain Resideo's talent.

As a Senior Learning Partner, you will be responsible for creating effective educational and training programs for employee and leader development. This role involves designing learning experiences, materials, and assessments that are engaging and aligned with learning objectives. As an innovative company, you will be empowered to create solutions that help propel Resideo's talent to the next level. You are a Pioneer of Learning who welcomes solving challenging problems with your creativity and resourcefulness. You enjoy proactively solving the strategy as much as being a key member of the execution, as we aid our customers in Protecting What Matters Most.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Curriculum and instructional design: Design learning programs/courses using instructional models such as ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy, or Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation to guide the design process
  • Content development: Create or curate content, including presentations, multimedia, reading materials, videos, and activities; ensure content is accurate, relevant, and up to date
  • Assessment and evaluation: Design and develop assessments to measure learning
  • Multimedia and technology integration: Use instructional technologies such as the LMS, authoring tools, and multimedia tools to design accessible content and courses
  • Collaboration with stakeholders: Collaborate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather content and produce high-quality learning materials
  • Project management: Manage timelines, resources, and milestones for instructional design projects
  • Testing and iteration: Using a customer-centric design process, pilot courses and continuously improve learning materials
  • Continuous learning and improvement: Stay up to date with the latest instructional and learning trends, technology, and methodologies
  • This role will report directly to the Director of Talent and Learning

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 10+ years of experience in instructional design or related fields, such as e-learning, curriculum development, or training
  • Prior experience managing large-scale, complex learning projects, including end-to-end project management

WE VALUE:

  • Familiarity with Learning Theories (Constructivism, Behaviorism, Cognitive Learning Theory) and how to apply them to the learning design process
  • Ability to select and apply the right instructional model depending on the project's goals, audience, and constraints
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the integration of learning technologies (Experience with Oracle Learning, LinkedIn Learning, and/or Open Sesame preferred)
  • Experience working with SCORM and other e-learning standards to ensure content compatibility and tracking within an LMS
  • Proven and reliable project management skills, including overseeing timelines and resources for multiple instructional design projects
  • Ability to balance working individually and autonomously while also working alongside a range of teams — comfortable being part of a team, leading projects, or owning tasks directly!
  • Comfortability using a high degree of judgment to support team priorities while juggling an extensive range of competing initiatives
  • Ability to analyze data to measure the effectiveness of instructional programs

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Innovation: Bring your creative ideas to the table and be part of a company that values out-of-the-box thinking
  • Impact: Be a key player in shaping talent and learning
  • Growth: Join a dynamic team with ample opportunities for professional and personal development
  • Collaboration: Join a team where collaboration is not just encouraged; it is the backbone of our success
  • Resideo provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including life and health insurance, life assistance program, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, vacation & holidays

This position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.
