Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Sales Ops Analyst for a contract position in Arden Hill, MN. The opportunity will be five months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

This person will work with a newer team (5-6), reporting to the hiring manager. Prepares analytics and insights across departments as well as provides operational efficiency and optimization within the department.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business needs for data, translate them into use cases, and prioritize a plan based on strategic goals and value.
  • Bring business knowledge and context to data, while understanding the technical aspects of all source systems of data
  • Create and manage appealing and interactive analytical tools that are used by the business, working individually and as part of a project team.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs, turn them into data visualizations, and prioritize a plan based on strategic goals and value.
  • Develop and manage business processes that enable a data-driven culture
  • Coordinate with data product managers and analysts to determine data requirements for project work, identify and resolve data inconsistency issues as they arise, help to prioritize critical defects, and provide support and alternative solutions.
  • Communicate clearly about project status, data insights, and technical concepts to business stakeholders, executives, and end-users.
  • Suggest improvements to the data operating model, including governance, workflow, roles, and responsibilities necessary for effective and efficient delivery.
  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience analyzing data, data visualizations, and creating tools and reports.
  • Develop and design interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to effectively tell the story of the business through data visualization, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and impactful insights for stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS). Ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and extract insights from large datasets.
  • Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Experience: Familiarity with tools like Snowflake or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to align stakeholders and develop strong relationships, coach stakeholders that are not digital-savvy and fully leverage their knowledge and support.
  • Very strong Excel
  • Comfortable with formulas, forecasting
  • Tableau experience
  • SAP, Salesforce experience
  • Service Max experience is a huge plus!
