Moorecroft is looking to hire a CV/ML Engineer. This is an exciting long-term contract opportunity in a fun and exciting environment!

Computer Vision/ Machine Learning Engineer
6+ months Contract

• Develop and maintain machine learning (ML) infrastructure to support media, advertising, and distribution businesses, enabling a wide range of consumer-facing platforms.
• Work closely with Applied Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to support various ML applications, from data exploration to production deployment.
• Design and maintain production-grade batch and streaming data pipelines, ensuring data flow efficiency and reliability.
• Collect and analyze data from internal and external systems, providing data strategy consulting and ensuring high-quality datasets.
• Implement and automate ETL processes using tools such as Airflow and Jenkins for efficient data pipeline management.
• Build and extend core infrastructure components, such as the internal Feature Store, to improve ML workflows and application scalability.
• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within an Agile environment, focusing on improving workflows and processes.
• Mentor colleagues on best practices in data engineering and large-scale solution development.
• Leverage AWS technologies, big data solutions like Databricks, Spark, and Redshift, and build streaming pipelines using Kafka, Flink, or similar technologies.
• Experience with ML pipelines, backend microservices for distributed systems, and shipping streaming media applications.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of ML infrastructure while orchestrating continuous learning, inference, and observation cycles.
