Position Title: Senior UiPath Business Analyst
Location: Candidates - preferred Springfield, VA or DC area. Remote candidates considered on a case-by-case basis.
Position Overview: Indev is seeking an experienced Senior UiPath Business Analyst who can support our growing Automation line of business. We are looking for someone in the greater Washington, DC area to play a lead role in providing business analyst consulting services to our clients. This opportunity is specific to our Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) client.
Our TSA customers are leveraging UiPath to create business process workflows and process automations to revolutionize their business through improved efficiency, reduced costs, and redeploying personnel from repetitive tasks to more value-added activities. As part of a cross functional agile team, the Senior UiPath Business Analyst would lead customer interactions related to requirements elicitation, creating the resulting features/epics/user stories, creating and supporting training and documentation. This is a fast-paced, demanding environment with access to senior client leadership, so the Senior UiPath Business Analyst must be comfortable interacting with and advising government stakeholders across multiple levels.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Work as part of an integrated agile team (e.g., Project Manager, Scrum Master, Software Architect, Developers), government stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define and deploy solutions on the UiPath platform.
- Support discovery of technical requirements working in close collaboration with the product owner and business users across multiple levels, including senior management.
- Partner with Product Owners to provide ongoing management and refinement of Product Backlogs by decomposing larger features into small Backlog items, promoting clear and concise User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, and guiding prioritization.
- Assist with both long-term and short-term planning, contributing expertise and understanding of business needs to activities like Release Planning and Sprint Planning.
- Support a wide range of activities across multiple projects including process discovery and analysis, solution design and documentation, stakeholder communication, automation strategy and roadmap development, process improvement and optimization, testing, training and knowledge sharing activities.
- Provide project planning, management, communication, and coordination support to enterprise IT initiatives.
- Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with senior-level business and IT stakeholders within the components.
- Analyze business problems, understand the business process, and create process flow diagrams used as the basis for the solution design.
- Utilize excellent organizational skills to adhere to project deadlines, create and maintain deliverables, and proactively achieve project milestones.
- Establish client relationships; and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct research, analyze information needs, and perform analysis to support the delivery of relevant artifacts including business process diagrams, reports, and presentation.
- Review and edit documents developed by others to ensure accuracy and quality of content, organization, language, format consistency, and conformance with established standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college, university, or academic institution in the United States.
- 6+ years of experience working on, preferably leading, the analysis for Agile delivery teams.
- 4+ years of experience as a UiPath Business Analyst, 2+ years of which were supporting Federal IT projects.
- UiPath Certified Professional: Automation Business Analyst Professional (preferred).
- Strong understanding of UiPath tools including UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot.
- Experience with client management including scoping and expectation setting is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Client friendliness with the ability to build and maintain trusting and value-added client relationships.
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Comfortable achieving a consensus across a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
Additional preferred qualifications:
- Existing or previous clearance within TSA or another DHS agency.
- UiPath Certified Professional: Automation Business Analyst Professional.
- Certifications supporting project management or Agile practices, such as PMI PMP/ACP, CSM, CSPO, etc.
