Purview Engineer Data Governance & Quality

Location: Irving, Texas,

Job Description:

• Experience leveraging the MS Purview Data Governance portal for data management and
• enabling various cross domain use cases
• Deep understanding of data governance capabilities including data catalog, data
• dictionary, business lineage, technical lineage and stewardship workflows
• Familiar with the data mesh architecture implementation on the Azure platform
• Responsible for day-to-day configuration and maintenance of data catalog platform
• Responsible for integrating with new data sources for metadata acquisition.
• Work closely with project teams to help with delivering catalog use cases which include
• design, configuration and deployment.
• Validate lineage diagrams and modify/change as required.
• Develop customizations as required for use cases which may include API integrations,
• custom dashboards and workflows
• Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure (preferable), Google, AWS and
• Familiar with data quality practices and its integration with data catalog
• Comfortable working independently and with other teams/vendors to resolve issues.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in Data Governance, data catalog, and data stewardship
• Hands-on experience with programing languages such as SQL, HTML, Java, Python and

others is plus

• Demonstrates familiarity with Purview best practices, infrastructure & networking setup.
• Retail/CPG domain knowledge is plus.
