Join us as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in developing and executing test plans and cases to uphold our high-quality standards within the IT organization. You’ll support a wide range of testing efforts, including functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end acceptance testing.

In this position, you'll utilize your understanding of core testing concepts—like requirements analysis, test plan development, negative scenario testing, and exploratory testing—to tackle complex scenarios with analytical and problem-solving skills. What Your Responsibilities Will Look Like

  • Design, execute and maintain testing deliverables including testing approaches, test cases, test scripts and test result summaries utilizing industry best practices.
  • Perform system and application testing to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
  • Carryout manual backend testing to verify functionality per requirements.
  • Maintain accurate testing documentation including test cases, defect logging and reporting.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to understand requirements, create comprehensive test plans, manage planning and scheduling of testing efforts, confirm product specifications, and communicate testing progress and relevant information to stakeholders and management.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders with user acceptance testing and/or integration testing.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Promote quality assurance best practices across project team.
  • Support testing needs of key initiatives, or special projects, as they arise.
  • Work closely with QA team members and Director to identify, design, or enhance areas where testing efforts could be reduced through automation, tool creation or similar concepts.

Qualifications To Be a Software Quality Assurance Analyst

  • Minimum 3 years of software quality assurance experience with a focus on backend database manual testing.
  • Hands-on experience using SQL to write and execute complex queries.
  • Results driven and independent worker with ability to prioritize work activities with minimal guidance and coaching.
  • Strong interpersonal skills across all organizational levels. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with, and through, others to move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Exhibits a high tolerance for rapid change and the ability to adapt and manage change effectively.
  • Analytical orientation with creative problem-solving skills; enjoys unraveling ambiguous problems.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience working with PBM or pharmacy claims processing.
  • Experience testing applications developed using Microsoft .NET C#, VB.NET, VB6, and SQL Server preferred.
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps experience.
  • Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodology.
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology a plus.
