Product Specialist

About the position:

The Product Specialist will be highly skilled and knowledgeable in the SilverLeaf product line as well as the Silverware apps and Microsoft Business Central. The SilverLeaf Product Specialist will assist the Senior Product Specialist as needed in tasks such as (but not limited to): Requirement gathering, product design, story writing, acceptance criteria, testing, documentation and internal training. This role is pivotal in the success of our product team assisting in all activities related to product design to delivery hand-off.

Your day might look like:

• Participate in sprint planning, scrum meetings and other product related meetings
• Create and perform test scenarios for product features that are developed. Testing should not only assess the new functionality developed, but also assure that existing functionality is not impaired
• Create user guides and documentation to support the SilverLeaf products
• Create product videos for internal & client use (assistance for marketing / sales videos as needed)
• Work with the Senior Product Specialist and Senior Product Owner to step in where necessary
• Participate in the creation of demo and test data for product testing as well as sales demos

What you'll bring:

• Proficient in Microsoft Business Central and related system environment requirements
• Excellent communicator verbal and written
• Ability to work as a team as well as individually (remote job)
• Experience or knowledge of the Cannabis and/or Horticulture industry (if none exists, ability to learn quickly)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and client/use oriented mindset
• Familiarity with software development process and product lifecycle management
• Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Partner Center, Microsoft AppSource, and various Microsoft product stack offerings
