Position Summary

Ready to be our trusted expert for all things “guest experiences” at Sunlit Vacation Rentals?

As our Part-Time Guest Experience Coordinator, your role will be critical to our continued success.

If you are comfortable interacting with people, enjoy ensuring guests have a great time, and can meticulously track details, this job will be perfect for you. Your primary goal will be to guarantee flawless reservations from start to finish.

During each shift, you will oversee our guest communications, keeping to a 30-minute response time to inquiries on various platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo. You’ll listen intently to and be guided by customer feedback. You’ll also coordinate with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to address any issues during a guest's stay to ensure a quick solution with minimal disruption. Ultimately, as our Guest Experience Coordinator, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and our services. And you’ll be free to do this in a hybrid capacity, either from home or in the office as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest inquiries within 30 minutes across all platforms, including Airbnb, VRBO, Expedia, and others.
  • Address current guest questions and concerns immediately, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
  • Utilize internal systems to efficiently communicate and manage property issues, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the entire Sunlit team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with the team and the CEO to strategize and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on guest insights.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in the vacation rental industry, with a proven track record of managing guest relations.
  • Must be located in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone to ensure timely communication with guests.
  • Location in Northeast Florida a plus but not a requirement
  • Certification in Guest Relations Management or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept problem-solving abilities, willingness to take initiative.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry trends, best practices in guest experience management, analyzing customer feedback, and implementing improvements is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Wage: $20 -$24 per hour based on experience and achievement
