A large growing defense company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Connecticut. In this role, you will be the technical lead for manufacturing engineering to support production of naval electronics.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop and streamline production operations in manufacturing execution system
  • Identify and support required tooling to achieve production goals
  • Partner with engineering department to achieve design for manufacturing ability targets
  • Mentor junior engineers to learn on-the-job skills
  • Lead lean or Kaizen events and implement at the site-level on an ongoing basis

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in an applicable engineering field
  • 4+ years applicable engineering experience
  • Lean implementation experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity ERP Systems, MES, PLM, and 3D Modeling
