Job Description
Summary:
DSJ Global has partnered with a leading paper and pulp manufacturer near Jackson, MS! They are seeking an engineer-minded Maintenance Manager to join their team. As the Maintenance Manager you ensure the safety and efficiency of operations within the facility. This position requires a technical approach to drive process resolution and continuous improvement, with a focus on enhanced production, reduced costs, and world-class reliability. Exceptional leadership skills are essential for managing the team and developing a vision for the future of the department.
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical team by fostering teamwork, supporting professional development, and utilizing various leadership styles
- Provide expert guidance on maintenance issues and oversee the completion of technical projects
- Oversee the capital expenditure budget, maintenance repairs budget, and energy budget. Monitor expenditures and make adjustments as necessary to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, cost, and reliability
Maintenance Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree within Engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or other Engineering fields
- At least 8 years in paper converting/paper & pulp manufacturing or paper mills
- At least 5 years of management experience

Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000 (Depending on Experience)
