American Cabling is currently seeking qualified applicants for an ongoing project. We are specifically looking for experienced Fiber Optic technicians to join our team at the prestigious Tobyhanna Army Depot in Tobyhanna, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise in SM fiber installation, testing, and splicing.

A significant portion of the project involves working within confined space areas, where we have both new and existing fiber optic cable installations. While previous training and certification in confined space operations is highly preferred, it is not an absolute requirement for consideration. We will provide confined spaced training and Osha 10 training for all applicant if required. We do, however, require all applicants to successfully undergo and pass a comprehensive background investigation.

This is a full-time position that offers long-term stability, spanning multiple years, and comes with a comprehensive benefits package. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please submit a detailed resume highlighting your relevant experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in SM fiber installation and testing using ODTR
  • Expertise in splicing SM Fiber
  • Experience terminating ribbonized fiber

  • Ability to successfully pass drug and background investigations
