  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

This role involves learning the government contracting lifecycle, leading capture efforts, and driving strategic growth through aligning our solutions with client needs.

Job Summary: The Mid-level Scrum Master will support the Department of Defense (DoD) biosurveillance integration project by providing agile project management expertise. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams to effectively utilize agile methodologies to deliver technical solutions in a fast-paced, iterative development environment. The Scrum Master will facilitate the planning and execution of sprint activities, manage scrum processes, and support the removal of impediments to ensure project success. This position requires a strong grasp of Agile software development practices and excellent communication skills to align multiple stakeholders towards a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Scrum Master for development teams, leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure agile processes are followed and improved continuously
  • Collaborate closely with product owners to document and refine requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and define user stories to meet project needs
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across various organizational units
  • Provide support in documenting requirements and specifications, reviewing documentation provided by other teams, and ensuring adherence to project goals and technical standards
  • Proactively identify, document, and resolve impediments that could impact the team's ability to deliver high-quality solutions within the established timelines
  • Synthesize requirements underlying feature requests and recommend alternative technical and business approaches to balance user needs with project constraints
  • Promote and encourage the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices across the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and transparency
  • Track and report project progress, using metrics to inform decision-making and adapt project plans as needed to ensure successful delivery




Skills/Qualifications:
  • Must have active DoD SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience in agile project management, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and iterative development practices
  • Experience with Agile software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Ability to analyze and document project requirements, and develop technical documentation as needed
  • Previous experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile project management role, preferably within defense or federal government environments
  • Demonstrated experience in managing agile projects with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
