We have an exciting opportunity for a BMC Helix ITSM Engineer with our industry-leading client.
Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen.
Rate: $75 - $85 / hr. w2
Clearance:
Preferred: Top Secret (TS/SCI)
Acceptable: Secret
Open to considering candidates with any clearance level.
Location:
Candidates can live anywhere in the country.
Must be willing to commute or travel to Salt Lake City, UT for 1-2 weeks per month.
All travel expenses will be fully paid by client.
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of direct BMC Helix ITMS engineering and administration experience required
Navigate Windows Server OS
Troubleshoot incidents and problems with the Remedy System
Review logs and system performance; report anomalies using the incident management process
Use BMC Remedy logs and Developer Studio to troubleshoot complex workflow issues
Work with BMC to troubleshoot complex workflow issues
Perform patching and deployments
Ensure accurate and appropriate use of the system and data via configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and report development
Support the implementation of system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance
Fulfill standard requests such as report development, foundation data updates, and system monitoring
Develop BMC AR System and BMC ITSM using Developer Studio
Work with Smart Reporting or Helix Dashboards to build reports and dashboards using data from the ITSM system and other data sources
Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot BMC ITSM Suite
Coordinate large complex Remedy migration, upgrade, and development projects
Review complex customer functional requirements and determine how to deploy in Remedy
Produce professional-level technical documentation
Experience Nice to Have:
Redhat OS navigation
BMC DWP and DWP Catalog (Linux) installation and troubleshooting
BMC Remedy Single Sign On (RSSO) installation and troubleshooting
Helix Dashboards installation and report creation
Experience with containerized infrastructures deploying BMC software
Training & Certifications Required:
Security+ CE
BMC Helix ITSM Associate Certification or equivalent
Training & Certifications Nice to Have:
BMC Professional Certification in DWP-A, Helix CMDB, or Innovation Studio
Education Required:
5+ years of direct Helix ITSM experience with a BS Degree in computer science or related field -OR-
8+ years of direct Helix ITSM experience without a BS Degree + a BMC Professional Certification
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
