Job Description
In order to join the ELEVI team you will need
- You must be willing to work in the Annapolis Junction, MD, area.
- A CURRENT OR ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH POLY IS REQUIRED.
- Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5)+ years of additional Systems Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- The successful candidate will be able to work independently, learn new tasks over time and have the experience with the following:
Running security scans (STE/STN Support)
Support onsite ISSO with STE/STN Support
Linux system administration
Some minor Windows system administration
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
Jira for workflow management (ticketing)
Confluence for documentation and artifact sharing
Provisioning virtual machine resources
Ability to navigate Command Line Interface (CLI)
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve SA related issues.
TPAM for account management
Planned and unplanned outage coordination (use or Outage Manager (OME)
Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes containerization (not required but would be nice to have)
Some of the day-to-day activities:
- Support system administration and software integration activities using LINUX, MASH, OPENSHIFT, and Docker
- Provide end to end enterprise capabilities that normalizes data, reduces data loss, enables data consistency for automation, increases shared data sets for all customers, and improves corporate repositories data ingression\
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems, for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers, and for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
