GENERAL SUMMARY: In support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division - LPD 17 Class Networks In-Service Engineering Team (NSWCPD Code 543), EHS Technologies Corporation is seeking an individual to provide general electronics and network troubleshooting support.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide general electronics and networks troubleshooting support.
  • Support network centric laboratory testing.

Technical Skillsets Required:

  • Know how run, terminate, and troubleshoot Cat5 (RJ45/MQJ) and fiber (single/multimode) connections.
  • Provide test site support such as conduct test procedures, network switch load, run cables and connection.
  • Preform network integration efforts.
  • Know how to use electronics technician tools such as electrical multimeter, network analyzers, and related equipment.
  • Have basic knowledge of computer IT support such as Windows and Linux.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation such as cable routing diagram, status reports and other items of that nature.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Attention to detail and meticulous logging of testing, troubleshooting steps, and findings.
  • U.S. Navy shipboard or land-based support experience is a plus.
Requirements:

Experience Required:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience providing general electronics and network troubleshooting support.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time if required.
  • Successful applicants must either have an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance or the ability to receive approval for one upon position acceptance.
  • Must have a valid U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.
  • Candidate must be a licensed driver.
