As a full-service design-build company, D-Zigns specializes in remodeling and improving homes, working closely with clients to bring their visions to life. Led by Dave, a seasoned professional with a background in design, renovation, and construction, our team is dedicated to providing personalized service, creative solutions, and exceptional attention to detail.

As a Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's databases. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our databases, including monitoring performance, optimizing queries, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Additionally, you will work closely with our development team to design and implement database solutions that meet the specific needs of our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the company's databases to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Optimize database queries and indexes for improved efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
  • Implement database security measures to protect sensitive data
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement database solutions
  • Create and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries and schema diagrams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL or Oracle
  • Proficient in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Knowledge of database security principles and best practices
  • Experience with database design and normalization
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
