We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to work in Alexandria, VA.
Summary
The Project Manager will lead and manage all aspects of the CRM platform implementation based on ServiceNow , ensuring that the project
aligns with organizational objectives and delivers value. This role requires a blend of
technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to drive the
project to successful completion. The Project Manager will be the primary point of
contact for all project-related activities, interfacing with stakeholders, managing project
teams, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgetary requirements. Oversee the execution of the project plan, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main liaison between the client's OCIO/CSS Program Manager and the project team. Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to manage risks effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with the specifications outlined in the RFP. Implement quality control processes to monitor and verify project outcomes.
- Change Management: Manage change requests, ensuring that any changes to project scope, timeline, or budget are documented, assessed for impact, and approved by the necessary stakeholders.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk logs. Provide detailed and accurate project reports to senior management and stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Experience providing overall delivery order management and day-to-day management of a ServiceNow team.
- Experience managing the delivery, ongoing success, and continuous improvement of one or more digital products and/or platforms.
- A minimum of three (3) years of project management experience, specifically managing implementations of ServiceNow related projects.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT projects with a focus on CRM platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly recommended.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- Hold the ServiceNow Certified Implementor certification (e.g., ServiceNow Implementation Bootcamp).
- Training in one or more of the following areas: Advanced Administrator, Asset Management, Scripting in ServiceNow , Application Creation in ServiceNow , ServiceNow Discovery, Domain Separation, HR Operations
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
- Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
- Learns and memories routine tasks.
- Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
