Pay:

  • $75,000.00-$150,000.00 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and diagnose heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various settings including multi-family, single-family, and commercial applications
  • Ensure that all repairs and diagnoses are performed thoroughly and up to code according to Davis Heating & Cooling LLC's rigid quality standards
  • Report to assigned job sites promptly and prepared to work, as dispatched through the FieldLocate AP
  • Create detailed written reports documenting all findings, including specific details and capturing pictures using the Field Locate system
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and prevent future breakdowns
  • Install new HVAC systems and components as needed, following the manufacturer's guidelines and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and other team members to troubleshoot complex HVAC problems and provide effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any additional recommendations for future repairs or improvements
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on the status of repairs, explaining findings, and answering any questions or concerns

Job requirements

  • Valid drivers license and clean MVR
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Mitsubishi, Lennox, and Trane experience is a plus
  • NATE Certification is a plus
  • EPA certification
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrate the willingness to invest in andmaintain tools used in the Service ofHVAC equipment
  • Demonstrate the willingness to invest time intraining to advance the position
  • Demonstrate commitment to developingcustomer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directionsas given
  • Ability to follow Safety Guidelines
  • Safely work with heights and in tightworking conditions from extensionand step ladders
  • Ability to operate power and handtools safely
  • Ability to use safe lifting procedures
  • Ability to use the full range of bodymotion: climbing, balancing,stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, bending, and twisting
  • Must have a confident professional manner
  • Ability topresent yourself as an expert
  • Have knowledge of Plumbing, electricity, Controls, and electronics
  • Have knowledge of Ductless systems
  • Ability to read basic diagrams
  • Ability to Listen, comprehend and follow directions
  • Ability to make a connection with the customer
  • Have an integral understanding of HVAC operation and sequence of operation
  • Ability to charge an AC or heat pump system with SH or SC methods
  • Ability to comfortably work on Commercial Rooftop systems with a full understanding of how they operate including economizer
  • Ability to work on high and standard-efficiency furnaces and communication systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot zoning control systems
  • Ability to recognize when a System is not operating properly
  • Must have a baseline knowledge and understanding of combustion and carbon monoxide
  • Must have aproblem solver thinking
  • Should have the ability to educate and identify customers' needs
  • Ability to make a connection with the customer
  • Must be able to identify potential problems before they arise
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
