JOB TITLE: Network Administrator

REPORTS TO: Director, Electrical Engineering and Operations

SUMMARY: The information Network Administrator is responsible for providing technical work building and troubleshooting networks, hardware, cellular infostructure, fiberoptics, and backup corporate office (offsite) with software.

This position involves installing and configuring networks, fiber, computer systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults, and solving technical problems onsite. The role also includes maintaining and updating documentation and inventory, assisting with IT projects, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Ideal candidates should possess an understanding of IT principles, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communications skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General knowledge which includes architecture and ability to configure IP networking protocols and security
  • Jointly coordinates all system upgrades, modifications, or changes to the network.
  • Fiberoptic experience, Fiber Splicer Technician / Cable Installation
  • Experience with Windows, Windows Server, SQL Server, VM environments, and networking platforms
  • Uses troubleshooting, logical processing, and problem-solving skills to resolve hardware, and network issues
  • Identify, manage, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • End user training and troubleshooting of computer and communications related issues in real time, in a multisite environment.
  • Experience supporting cellular Infostructure
  • Prioritize and escalate issues to the IT Department as necessary.
  • Configure computers, phones, and other end user tech devices as needed.
  • Comprehensive setup of network infrastructure, which includes tasks such as pulling communications cable, constructing and setting up network racks, and configuring devices like switches and access points to ensure a fully operational network system.
  • Assist virtual helpdesk team as needed by provide essential IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and cellular devices onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Communicate potentially complex, technical concepts to non-technical clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Project Management approach to solving complex problems
  • Experience with MS Office products, both on-prem and O365.
  • Familiarity with networked print and file services.
  • Able to troubleshoot routine end user issues using remote support tools.
  • Assist users as needed for special projects that include a technology element.
  • Network+ and Security+ or CCNA certifications are preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • Must be able to be on feet 8 hours per day
  • Working conditions can vary greatly depending on the job site and time of year. You must be able to perform your work in extreme heat, cold, muddy, wet, windy, and dry conditions.

Schedule:

This is a non-exempt full-time position. Candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends and potentially on Holidays. Schedule is generally (5) days a week (Monday-Friday).

COMPENSATION:

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Daugherty Ranches LLC provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements.

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of things including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other related factors. The starting pay for this position is between $92,000 and $102,000 annual salary.
