Network Administrator
Qualifications
2+ years experience in a network administration role
Network Administration of Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto network platforms
Light System Administration
Solid Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Network Security knowledge and experience is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.
Required Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, STP, LAN, WAN
Knowledge of routing protocols. ex. BGP, OSPF
Knowledge of Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto network platforms
Knowledge of network monitoring product(s)
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
Must be able to identify technology needs/inefficiencies and address without supervision or technical guidance
Must be able to prioritize assignments and effectively manage their time
Excellent customer service skills to communicate with internal teams and external customers
Responsibilities
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the ticket queue for the network infrastructure team.
This will include troubleshooting network issues and providing technical support for network-related problems.
Knowing when to escalate a problem/issue to a higher level so SLAs are not breached.
Small projects will be assigned at times to help grow into a higher-level position.
