Title: VP, Operations
Location: Remote (with up to 75% travel nationwide)

Daisy is the fastest growing national smart space installation and services company. Launched in January 2024, we have acquired and franchised multiple home technology service businesses, while also building support for these businesses to enable growth, including call center, marketing, branding, HR, accounting, and technology. Were looking for a VP of Operations who will oversee and optimize the performance of Daisys owned branches across the country, understanding day to day business needs and practices, as well as continuous improvement opportunities. The VP of Operations will understand and map processes across the enterprise and implement standards and business practices that other added branches and franchisees can implement. The VP of Operations will assist in the M&A process, as well as in assessing talent in the branches. As a strong people manager, this individual will manage and lead Daisy's talented branch general managers and teams and monitor performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Support Daisys rapid, yet responsible scaling of operations; map existing processes and determine improvement opportunities; create standard work
  • Support branch management teams with day to day operational challenges and opportunities, as well as longer term strategic opportunities
  • Develop key performance indicators and metrics to assess ongoing business performance relative to company goals
  • Lead operational due diligence during M&A processes and assess talent assessments, in conjunction with human resources
  • Develop and execute operational initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability enhancement.

Background & Skills:


  • 15+ years of experience in operations roles
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Experience with multi-unit operations and/or services organizations
  • Experience with M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, and integration
  • Proven expertise in operational efficiencies
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Proven analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities, last-minute changes and requests experience in a fast paced, start-up environment preferrable to be set up for success
  • Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to look at the "big picture" without overlooking the smaller nuances
  • Ability to lead a team and keep team members motivated, informed, and aligned
  • Strong communications skills particularly around presenting highly technical ideas and information in a way that is easily accessible
