  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Solution Analytics Architect

Job Description

  • Architect will be at the forefront of designing and implementing modern analytics solutions within the Client data & analytics ecosystem. They will bridge the gap between business requirements and the technical implementation. This is a ~2 year assignment, stewarding Polaris Stewardship and Analytics deliverables from design to deployment and transition to support.

Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Business Leads, Project Managers, etc.) to understand business needs and translate them into scalable architectures
  • Design end-to-end solution that encompasses transformation, storage, consumption, security and write back
  • Take ownership for the technical design, build, testing, go-live, warranty and transition to support
  • Estimate the size and complexity of business requirements and manage inter-track technical dependencies

End-to-End Solution Design and Build

  • Architect end-to-end application, including systems, processes, integrations, and consumption layers
  • Responsible for designing and building complex custom end-user consumption tool
  • Ensure efficient and reliable data movement from source systems to data warehouses
  • Optimize visualization build for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Ensure adherence to IT principles and architecture mandates
  • Oversight on factory to build per design and ensure high quality of deliverables from vendor
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to address platform enablement and controls

Testing and Deployment

  • Lead testing efforts to validate the solution's functionality and performance
  • Implement observability tools to monitor system health
  • Facilitate smooth transitions to support teams

Required Skills

  • Knowledge on leveraging Python coding to create visualization on top of Snowflake (Streamlit or similar)
  • Proficiency in designing and developing data models, schemas, and queries within the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse
  • Experience with setting up and managing write back capability from custom frontend to Snowflake
  • Knowledge of APIs
  • Expertise in building and optimizing SQL in Snowflake

Optional Skills

  • Familiarity with CI-CD (Git) and DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation
  • Understanding of the principles behind the data mesh approach and its implications for modern data architectures
  • Knowledge of financial, operational or stewardship industry business processes
