DESCRIPTION

Hi, compadre. We re looking for a Design/Animation Intern w ho is a creative problem solver with the right set of technical skills . As an intern for our young, growing agency, you will be a core member of our team, and play a direct role in the success of our projects both client-facing and internal.

Sometimes you may be more involved in the initial design phase of a project. Sometimes you will help carry a project all the way through the end of animation production. And you will be surrounded by a creative team that will help guide you along the way through every phase of production.

You will work directly with the Creative Director . We tend to wear many hats as a growing agency, so you are ideally a multitasker, can take direction or work autonomously.

KEY DUTIES

  • Work on both internal and client-facing projects
  • Collaborate with fellow designers, animators, and editors on a daily basis
  • Be able to multitask and work on multiple projects in a variety of styles
  • Keep working files organized within our structured server folders
  • Attend daily meetings with team members to sync on project needs and goals for the day

Since launching in 2018, we have developed brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and identities for clients including Netflix, AT&T, NFL, Amazon, ESPN, Alo Yoga, CBS, and Cisco Technologies.

ABOUT YOU

  • Current student seeking degree in motion graphics, design, animation, or related field
  • Desire to work in studios or agencies in the motion graphics and marketing industries
  • Able to do both design and animation, but lean more heavily into animation
  • Strong understanding/working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, particularly After Effects for 2D animation, and C4D for 3D work
  • Core understanding of the Google Suite
  • Appetite to take on key responsibilities in the internship role
  • Ability to time manage and work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS

  • LA-based or willing to relocate once we're back in the office
  • Spring internship for March - May 2021
  • We can be flexible with working hours - just let us know how many hours per week you can provide within normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm)
  • Selected interns must have their own remote workstations for the beginning of the internship, but we can provide software licenses as needed. Once we are cleared to work in the office, we will provide a workstation for each intern.
  • College graduates are still eligible for our internships within 6 months of graduating
  • Paid internship with potential for school credits
