Job Description

Sales Account Executives are one of the most important roles at ClaimDeck. Their main responsibility is to foster relationships with clients and provide an exceptional customer experience.

We are looking for a competent, motivated, and ambitious Senior Sales Executive that has experience in the insurance or InsureTech market to join our team. If you love finding new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing clients, this role is for you! You ll be directly responsible for the maintenance and expansion of our customer base.

ClaimDeck sits at the intersection of technology, insurance, and law. ClaimDeck is bringing technology to two very traditional industries that have yet to be fully modernized and it is doing it in a transparent and elegant way. It is improving the processes and outcomes where legal and insurance meet in litigated claims while also improving the working lives of the attorneys and claims professionals operating in this space. Responsibilities

  • Ability to generate leads through various methods including cold calling, referrals, networking with both new and current contacts
  • Create detailed sales business plans
  • Set and manage sales goals and quotas
  • Manage the entire sales cycle
  • Assist in finding prospects and leads
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell
  • Provide customer support when needed
  • Learn new product and services features and benefits
  • Provide professional after-sales support
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Prepare and present reports on KPIs
  • Travel for client meetings and conferences

Requirements and skills

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the Insuretech space.
  • 5 years of experience as a Sales Account Executive or similar role selling and engagement with the C-Suite, preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in the insurance/InsureTech industry
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge of CRM software knowledge of Pipedrive is a plus
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on ClaimDeck s success
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate

Preferences (not required but nice to have)

  • BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
  • Located in Dallas, Austin, or New York (the job can be fully remote but best if in the same city as other team members)
