  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our mission is to connect middle schoolers to a supportive community through diverse and multigenerational relationships. We offer small-group personal and professional enrichment opportunities that incorporate restorative practices, hands-on workshops, and youth development curricula to create a vibrant and interconnected community.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an After School Coordinator at Grow Your World. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and supervising after-school activities for middle schoolers, implementing the enrichment curriculum, coordinating with volunteers, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Position will report directly to the After School Director.

Qualifications

  • Experience in youth development, education, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Knowledge of restorative practices and timebanking principles
  • Experience in program coordination and event planning
  • First aid and CPR certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Bilingual individuals and people from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
