Sales Manager Frozen Fruits & Vegetables executive, with focus on hunting and signing business (new opportunities, and/or expansion of existing accounts that have the potential to growth the actual revenue/wallet share).

Is responsible for driving sales, marketing, and business development in the global market. This leadership role is key to building a strong revenue and profitability base while ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding business goals. The position oversees all aspects of the company’s commercial activities, including product development, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns, and provides strategic direction to the team. The Sales Manager is also accountable for new and emerging strategic business creation, as well as building upon existing account relationships.

Experience and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least five years of sales experience.
  • Proven track record in the North American market with a history of managing commercial and customer service teams.
  • Must be a collaborative leader with experience working with cross-cultural stakeholders and managing a variety of external key customer accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions from data, and anticipate future customer needs or concerns.
  • Proven experience in sales and client relationship management, with a strong focus on strategic planning, relationship development, profitability metrics, and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the frozen food industry is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business leader for growing sales, overseeing customer management, and managing the sales, marketing, and customer service efforts of the organization.
  • Develop strategic commercial and business development strategies optimized for both short-term results and long-term growth.
  • Establish and manage relevant business KPIs to track performance, ensuring that the company meets its financial goals by maximizing revenue while minimizing costs.
  • Create and execute commercial strategies aimed at accelerating growth, including studying industry trends and creating effective business plans based on commercial opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships with key stakeholders aimed at accelerating the company’s growth, and collaborate closely with internal departments such as Finance, Planning, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of strategic plans.
  • Responsible for developing and overseeing the sales budget, including assessing team processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Set sales goals, track performance, and implement corrective actions if sales are below budget.
  • Oversee the approval of product pricing and positioning, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Regularly receive reports comparing actual sales versus forecasted budgets and provide frequent updates to the CEO.
  • Develop an understanding of customers' needs and ensure they are met through effective relationship management and strategic planning.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with legal regulations and internal standards, particularly related to environmental and safety requirements.

Salary range: $150,000 base + commissions
